Are internships paid or unpaid?
Our internships are unpaid placements. Instead, participants pay a program fee of $300/week, which covers your placement, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, airport pickup, orientation, in-country support, and your certificate of completion.
Who pays for the program, me or Intern Africa?
You pay your program fee directly, before travelling. Intern Africa does not cover or reimburse program costs. The fee funds your placement, accommodation, meals, and in-country support for the duration of your program.
Can I choose the country where I intern?
Yes, you can select from various countries across Africa based on your field of interest and career goals.
